How do I connect to STAC from the API?

Connecting to the STAC via API requires:
URL: https://app.skyfi.com/stac
API Key: Your API key is in the SkyFi app under “My Profile” → “API Keys Management”

Connecting to STAC via QGIS:
 

1. Right-click STAC in the QGIS Browser panel → New STAC Connection
2. Name: Set a name, e.g. SkyFi STAC; URL: https://app.skyfi.com/stac
3. Authentication
   1. Configurations tab → +
   2. Name: Set a name, e.g. SkyFi STAC
   3. Set type to API Header → +
   4. Header Key = x-skyfi-api-key
   5. Header Value = API key retrieved from the SkyFi app
4. Save → OK
5. Expand the new SkyFi STAC connection in the QGIS Browser panel
   1. SkyFi Orders collection will be visible with your delivered items
6. Download or View orders
   1. Download: Right-click an item → Download
   2. View in QGIS: Drag an item to Layers panel

Connecting to STAC via ArcGIS Pro:

1.  Click Insert to view the Insert ribbon, then select connections, then STAC Connection, then New STAC Connection.

2. Connection Name: SKyFi STAC or similar
3. Connection: https://app.skyfi.com/stac
4. Custom Headers: 
   1. Name: x-skyfi-api-key
   2. Value: Your-API-Key-Goes-Here

 

5. Save → OK
6. Expand the new SkyFi STAC connection in theArcGIS Catalog panel

7. Double click SkyFi STAC.astac to open the Explore STAC Pane
8. Apply appropriate filters as desired (filter by SkyFi User ID to only view orders you have placed versus orders placed by the organization).
